Topcare Training College was started with the goal of providing holistic topnotch training with passion and excellence. The founders recognize the value of vocation and practical education that is founded on competence and life skills rather than only a certificate.
Traditionally education has been viewed from a lens of passing or failing exams based on some grades. For a period of time the academic field set some standards that determine university or college entry grades. This system has locked out a lot of talent out there with many discouraged young people who feel they missed the mark.Topcare Training College undertakes to address this by offering courses that allow even minimum grades for we believe every individual has intrinsic potential.
As the world population grows we need to respond to the ever changing needs. Currently there is a shortage of the basic support cadres in the society: people with practical and technical skills to address every day needs are in short supply. This is across different fields. This is at a time where the standards of living are gradually improving across the globe and technology is becoming part of life. People are now living longer than before and their healthcare needs are increasing. People are also more conscious about their nutrition and diets as well as wellbeing. Consequently there are a lot of opportunities in healthcare, hospitality and information, communication technology (ICT) and business management. These are the areas that Topcare Training College plans to address.
The vision of Topcare Training College is to become a global center of excellence in quality training, research and innovation. With a humble beginning in Kitengela, Kajiado County, the plan is to expand in the near future to complement the government in meeting the ever expanding demand for quality training. While offering standard certificate and Diploma courses accredited by government and other examining bodies Topcare Training College offers tailor-made courses based on current demand. This includes courses in caregiving and homecare management.
